The owner of Quick Translation – Jeff Waldock – began translating patent-related texts from German to English in 1982. The first translations were provisional decisions for clients in the USA and Great Britain. As time went on, and under the mentoring of various patent attorneys, he successively expanded the scope of his work and area of expertise to also include entire patents (descriptions, claims, abstracts).
In 1990, Mrs. Susanne Waldock (Dipl.-Biol.) began with patent translations from English and French into German. Due to her in-depth knowledge in the field of biology and other related fields of natural science, her translations are both linguistically and technically sound.
Since 1996, the year in which the translation office Quick Translation was founded, we have continually sought out qualified patent translators. Today, we work closely with a pool of highly experienced patent translators who provide top-quality translations.
